Strathann is situated in the heart of Portsoy, a beautiful old fishing village on the Banffshire Coast, only 50 miles from Aberdeen. The Banffshire and Moray Firth Coastlines make an ideal holiday destination, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and miles of coastline, sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages to explore.

Sail out on a dolphin watching boat trip or simply look out for the famous Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins and Minke whales, as you enjoy the sea views from beaches, cliff tops, old harbours, ruined castles and cliff top golf courses. Puffins and many other seabirds can be seen at the nearby RSPB reserve at Troup Head, and at MacDuff Aquarium you can see close ups of all the marine life of this beautiful coastline.

Of course, no trip to this area is complete without breath-taking mountain views and a traditional distillery nestling in a nearby glen, and there are certainly plenty to choose from, only a short drive away!
